VAT registered company bookkeeping 

This session will be focusing on day to day bookkeeping for companies who are VAT registered and already set up on software. It will cover adding sales and purchase invoices to software, reconcilliation of bank transactions, review of P&L account codes and VAT return preparation. The session will also cover common VAT rates and will touch on domestic reverse charge VAT for the construction industry but not go into detail on this.

Accountancy basics – Accountancy language, allowable expenses, basic reports, HMRC submission types​

This session is designed to help you understand the basics of accounting in a clear and simple way. We’ll explain common accountancy terms so you feel more confident when talking about your accounts to us and others. Learn what business expenses you can usually claim.  We’ll also go through the main financial reports including profit and loss and balance sheet, so you know what they mean and how they can help you understand your business. Finally, we’ll cover the main HMRC submissions, including what needs to be submitted and when payments are due

Non-VAT registered Sole trader bookkeeping, including MTD 

This session will focus on setting up software, use of software for bookkeeping, including raising invoices to customers, adding purchase invoices and bank reconcilliation. It will be targeted towards those who are not VAT registered. And finally will cover how to submit self employed quarterly returns via MTD using the software.
