Charity Work
For us, there’s even more to being part of the Cornish community than doing business here. We believe in rolling up our sleeves, giving our time, and supporting causes that make a real difference across our county and beyond.

Our very own Tour de Whyfield
In February 2026, we put our own spin on the Tour de France with a unique in-office cycling challenge, all to support an incredible cause.

Donations
Supporting the community starts with giving back. Whether it’s financial donations, sponsorships, or in-kind support, we’re committed to helping the people and projects that matter.
Every pound we donate helps local charities and CICs change lives, bring people together, and build stronger, happier communities. And we’re always looking for new ways to give more and do more!

Volunteering
Time is one of the most valuable things we can give. That’s why our team is keen to step out from behind the desk, and donate time outside of work, to lend a hand where needed. From beach cleans and cooking for the community, to charity challenges and events, you’ll find us there, ready to get involved and make new connections along the way.

Fundraising
We love a challenge, especially when it’s for a great cause. From bake sales to milestone events, whenever there’s a chance to give back, we’re there for it.
Whether we’re baking, walking, cycling, or raffling, we’re all about getting stuck in to support!

Rachael’s Spanish Ironman sponsorship
We were so thrilled to sponsor Rachael, our brilliant Bookkeeping Manager, in an IronMan that she completed, in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.
Rachael worked so hard over a 10-month period, training alongside her role at Whyfield, for an epic test of fitness and resilience.
She’d shown extraordinary determination throughout her training journey, and of course in the race itself – no easy feat! She completed a 3.8km swim, a 180km bike ride, and a 42km run (a marathon), in an incredible 13 hours, 54 minutes and 48 seconds.
We all tracked her during the race, and virtually cheered her when she finished! She absolutely blew us all away and we’re so proud.

Hours and hours donated in sorting Cornwall Christmas Boxes
For many years, we supported Cornwall Christmas box, acting as a community drop-off point where clients, friends, local businesses, and the community could deliver their wrapped food hampers for families in need across Cornwall. For those unable to shop and wrap a box themselves, we also ran a yearly GoFundMe campaign, using every penny donated to buy the ingredients, pack the hampers and wrap the boxes on behalf of our supporters.
Thanks to this generosity, we’ve helped provide hundreds of Christmas dinners over the years, over 564 boxes in total (that’s Christmas dinner for 2,256 people)! We’re incredibly proud to play a small part in supporting Cornish families during the festive season and look forward to continuing this work as the project evolves.
