Amethyst joined the Whyfield team in February 2024, as our Office Administrator. Within this role, she assists our Senior Administrator, Kelsey, and Office Coordinator, Charlie, with a myriad of administration tasks, welcoming clients into our office, and answering the phone… so it will most likely be Amethyst that greets you when you call!

Before working with us, Amethyst studied International Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Surrey, graduating in 2019 with an upper second-class honours degree. She then worked in hospitality for over 14 years, before moving over to her new career with a bunch of numbers people.

With two young children, Amethyst decided that it was time for a change and looked for a workplace with more sociable hours than those in the hospitality industry. So when she saw this role, with a 4-day week, she knew the move would be perfect for her and would give her the flexibility she needed to spend precious time with her family.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll most likely find her spending time with her family on walks in the woods or on the beach, exploring Cornwall and taking lots of photos, or enjoying a good ol’ duvet and film day.

Amethyst is out of the office on Thursdays.
