Laura is the co-founder and Managing Director of Whyfield. She was inspired to start the business from recognising that the rise of digital accountancy presented a great opportunity for a more modern firm.
Laura has previously worked within both industry and practice. She began her career at a large accounting firm and subsequently ran the finance department at a busy regional construction company. AAT qualified and finishing her CIMA qualifications in 2019, Laura has progressed her studies alongside growing Whyfield.
Laura’s outstanding commitment to the profession and supporting businesses resulted in her winning the IAB’s Small Business Mentor of the Year 2018; being a double finalist at the National Women’s Awards; and a finalist at the international AAT Awards.
