Team Lead
Matt joined the team in June 2023 in a brand new role of Team Lead. He is Whyfield’s entrusted expert for personal development, health and safety, HR, company policies, and compliance.
We’re thrilled to have Matt on board to support management and the team with day-to-day activities, work plans, and their personal development, providing advice and guidance and conducting regular reviews and check-ins. It’s a good job that Matt loves a spreadsheet as much as us accountants… there’s a whole lot of planning involved in this role!
When asked what drew Matt most to a career at Whyfield, he noted that staff wellbeing was central in Whyfield’s success, and the team-building looked amazing. He also loved the idea of the 4-day week, allowing him to do more of the things he loves, and enjoy more time with his family (a family that will be growing by one in December!)
When Matt’s not in the office, you’ll most likely find him watching and playing football (he’s a big Chelsea fan), on walks and exploring beautiful Cornish coast paths, and on holidays or a trips away – he absolutely loves a good theme park!
