Senior Bookkeeper and Management Accountant
Valentina joined the Whyfield team in April 2024 as our Senior Bookkeeper and Management Accountant, supporting her fellow bookkeepers and accountants with their clients, as well as managing her own client base.
Before joining the team, Valentina had her own business running an Italian delicatessen for four years, which was hugely successful! Sadly, she decided to close the shop due to the rising cost of living and the lack of work-life balance.
The work life balance is something that she has been able to find at Whyfield. She works within term times on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, from 9.15 am to 2.45 pm, allowing her valuable time with her family when she is out of the office.
As well as owning her own business, Valentina has a bounty of experience in accounting, working in both practice and industry, but during that time she has never come across a place like Whyfield. She could instantly see there is so much care given here, to not just the clients, but to the staff too, and this drew her back to work in practice. Lucky for us!
When Valentina isn’t in the office, you’ll most likely find her spending time with her family and two children. She’s also lately become a bit of a fitness, health, and wellbeing fanatic, so she can often be found in the gym!
Valentina is out of the office on Thursdays and Fridays.
